Inhaler Database is a static clinical reference tool for qualified healthcare professionals. This page explains, in plain language, what information is and is not collected when you use the site.
What we do NOT collect
- Names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers
- Patient information of any kind
- Account credentials — there are no user accounts
- Search queries, filter selections, or browsing history
- Location data beyond the approximate region derivable from an IP address
- Analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking data
- Cookies used for tracking, profiling, or advertising
What is collected
- Standard server access logs created by our hosting provider when any page is requested. These typically include your IP address, the URL requested, a timestamp, the HTTP status code, and your browser user-agent string.
- These logs exist for security, abuse prevention, and basic operational diagnostics. They are not used to build a profile of you or linked to any identity.
Cookies and local storage
We do not set tracking cookies. The site may use a small amount of browser local storage to remember non-identifying UI preferences (such as your selected view mode or card label order). This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
Third parties
The site does not load third-party analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking scripts. Web fonts may be served from a public font provider; no identifying information is sent to them beyond what is present in a standard HTTP request.
Your rights
